When we were year 7 student, life wasn't that hard. All we care about is playing with friends and study when exams are near. Global warming was not a big issue. Nobody cared about terrorism, and noone go to war just for oil. We don't blow up innocent people on churches, and kill tourists on nightclubs. Why do world keep getting worse?

I was happy with this result, but just for a short while.. After looking back at last session, I'm starting to think if my mark is too high. Maybe I didn't have any social life. I stayed too long in labs, spent my weekends doing assignments, made no new friends, making "study" as an excuse to everything, and worse, I even failed in relationship. It all became clear when winter break started.. suddenly all though days doing assignments are gone, and I found myself doing literally nothing.. sulking at home all day long.. So the point is.. I've been doing so good academically, but so dead socially.. Im unconsciuosly turning to a nerd, a geek.. my uni results look meaningless now..

 
After so much effort, finally I got a legit driver's license here. It was bit disappointing at first, since they don't fully recognize overseas driver's license from Indo, and I had to spent time and money to translate it to english. I hate how their system is so complicated. But afterall, I took the driving test today, and the only word the instructor said to me was "very good driving" :)

Found this teddy bear sulking on a payphone booth on my way to uni. I don't know what's his story, but I really like how he looked so desperate, like his girlfriend just broke him up over the phone. Anyway this maybe very silly, but I do recognize this as art. I put this pic as my phone's background now.

Just got an email from dad, and he sent pics of me when I was really young, I can't remember I looked like that, time really flies. I guess my dad and mom really miss me & my bro. My bro just came here to Australia last week, and he said the house felt so empty now. He also retired from his work early this year. I told him to move here to Australia, but maybe he thinks he is too old for that.

He also scanned a little valentine card sent to me by a friend. Duno where he got that from, guess they swept thru all my stuff once I've gone here. I still remember the card was attached to a chocolate. People do give each other chocolate n gifts on valentine day back on my highschool time. Miss that time a lot.

And the last one is an address & phone number list of my 1st grade highschool class. Back then not everyone has a mobile phone, so we create this kind of list, and photocopy it for the whole class. I can't believe what I thought was common is starting to become an old story, I guess I'm really getting old.

Bought my first car in Australia last month. It's a 2nd hand car, Honda Civic 05. Thou up until now I'm an illegal driver (no local license yet), I've been driving since I was 15 back home.

Anyway, I believe what people been saying about 2nd hand car now. There's always a downside on it. The dealer had suceed to convince me this car is good & smooth, until a week later I found the cd player is not working, and the clutch choked a little bit sometime.

Anyway, I guess it's just the price I have to pay for getting this car for $14,7k (average price is about $15-16k). Nonetheless, I'm still happy with this car. I even asked my bro to bring the little cat doll that I used to hang on my car back home. This doll was given by a good highschool friend Lala. It was back when I'm still on the 2nd grade I guess. Everytime she sees this doll she always says it looks like me -__-. Thank you for that, I'll treasure the doll.

Without doubt 2007 is the worst new year celebration in past 4-5 years. I was actually having a yakiniku with 3 other friends together.. But until the countdown, all they did was just sitting in front of TV playing Tekken.

When I stepped out to balcony couple seconds before 2007, all I head is just people screaming in background. I can't even see the firework cos it was blocked by a building.

Here's a glimpse of how dead it was T_T
